Andrew is a dedicated and commercially focused HR professional with over a decade of experience in various industries and sectors. Holding a master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Andrew is able to draw on strong technical skill and experience to design innovative and creative HR solutions that deliver on business needs.
Having worked across a variety of sectors including Facilities Management, Logistics, Retail, Technology, Manufacturing and Public Sector, Andrew is well versed in supporting many different types of organisation and workforce.
Through his varied HR career Andrew has managed numerous restructuring and redundancy exercises, from single site closures and small scale reductions, right through to working on one of the largest restructures in corporate history with Tesco. He has managed large scale TUPE contracts in a highly unionised environment and conducted negotiations with trade unions and managed collective bargaining agreements. He also has significant experience managing the full range of complex disciplinary and grievance cases, including Employment Tribunals and Settlements.
Andrew has produced bespoke policies, employee handbooks and HR documentation for a number of businesses of varying size. He has worked closely with business owners and senior management teams to ensure that their HR approach supports their strategic goals and ambitions. Specialisms include performance management, professional competency frameworks and people manager capability and Andrew has designed and delivered various training materials and initiatives to address a wide range of business requirements.
